The EVOLUTION 40 is a high-performance sound and flash suppressor designed for use on .40 S&W caliber semi-automatic handguns. As with all members of the EVOLUTION family, the EVOLUTION 40 stands head and shoulders above the "competition" because it incorporates the A.S.A.P. System. Essentially a "product-perfected" Nielsen device, the A.S.A.P. System enables traditionally recalcitrant Browning inspired handgun designs to function reliably by temporarily relieving the host firearm of the weight-burden of the suppressor. When an EVOLUTION 40 equipped weapon is discharged, high-pressure gasses enter the suppressor body and propel it forward against the tension of the A.S.A.P. System driving spring. While the majority of the suppressor's mass is in this "floating" condition, the host weapon's firing cycle is able to proceed unhampered. The driving spring within the A.S.A.P. System returns the suppressor to it's unfired state, ready for subsequent shots. This sequence of events takes place so quickly, the shooter is unaware it has occurred.

The generation three AWC Jupiter Eye™, has proven itself to be the only dry 9mm suppressor built to last and is still the quietest unit available. Jupiter Eye™ has a new type of baffle system that "stomps out the noise!" The Jupiter Eye™ suppressor is a muzzle mounted device designed to be compatible with most 9mm, .40 caliber & 10mm pistols. This suppressor, in addition to significantly reducing muzzle blast, is also effective in the elimination of muzzle flash, and it does all of this as a dry suppressor when used in the 9mm configuration. Optimal suppression with a .40cal/10mm Jupiter Eye is achieved by introducing artificial environment however it is not required.

The advanced internal system of the AWC Jupiter Eye reduces felt recoil and increases accuracy. Interchangeable mounting systems make for easy swapping between guns with different thread specifications, and the new Solid Mounting Systems facilitate its use on sub-guns. Light weight and deadly quiet, it's like a ThunderTrap for a pistol! The Jupiter Eye suppressor is constructed of corrosion resistant titanium alloys, 300 series stainless steel, 17-4PH heat treated steel & 6061T6. The suppressor is compatible with all 9mm 40 caliber and 10mm pistols and is now available in .357caliber. Properly machined replacement threaded match grade suppressor tuned stainless steel barrels are available for Browning, Colt, CZ, Glock, HK, Para Ordnance, S&W Military & Police, SIG, Springfield Armory XD and Walther P99 directly from AWC or authorized AWC dealers.
